A scary footage has emerged online showing two of the world's deadliest snakes, a black snake with a reddish belly and a brown snake, engaged in a mortal battle.

The snakes engaging in a fight to the death

Sean Shaw, a nature enthusiast in Australia, posted the video on YouTube and it has now gone viral. In the footage, the larger black snake is seen chasing down the smaller brown one and after a two-minute fight in which they bite and inject venom into each other, overpowers it.

The black snake is then seen trying to eat the defeated snake but, having swallowed half of it, appears unable to swallow the rest
